To provide, within one year, the necessary skills to prevent disruption of the family unit and separation of family members or restore broken and separated families by empowering them to be healthy functioning families.


These services are designed/tailored to meet the needs of each individual family. These services are primarily funded through grants/scholarships.


These services include:

  • Access to individual and family counseling

  • Life Skills

  • Parenting Skills

  • Support Groups

  • Food Pantry

  • Clothes Closet

  • Mentoring

Do I have to qualify to receive these services through grants and scholarships?


Families must meet the following criteria in order to qualify to receive Restoration services through grants/scholarships:

1. Low income and either involved with DFCS or at-risk of being involved with DFCS (child(ren) in the home or in relative care)

2. Has safe shelter

3. Currently employed or able bodied and capable of working

4. Is actively working a substance abuse recovery program if addiction has been an issue

The Family Restoration services consist of 2 positions:

  • Director: oversees all operations of Family Preservation services, including: managing scholarship funding, family intakes, and service eligibility.

  • Counselors: Master's degree in Counseling, Licensed Counselor, or Certified Life Coach.
